Nano Brow Vs Microblading
What is Microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent brow technique that enhances the shape and fullness of your eyebrows. Using a hand tool with 10–16 fine needles arranged in a blade shape, pigment is deposited into the skin through small, hair-like strokes. While this method creates natural-looking brows, repeated sessions too close together can cause skin resistance or scar tissue, and may lead to a more solid appearance rather than fine strokes.
What are Nano Needle Brows?
Also called nano needling or micropigmentation, nano brows are created with a single ultra-fine needle and a permanent makeup device. The machine works with controlled precision to implant pigment into the skin, similar in concept to a tattoo machine but far gentler and less painful. This method allows for crisp, natural results with minimal trauma to the skin.
So, what’s the difference?
Microblading vs. Nano Needling
Both treatments create fuller, natural-looking brows, but there are some key differences.
Skin impact: Nano needling is gentler, causing less trauma to the skin compared to microblading.
Technique: Microblading uses more rigid blades, while nano needling uses ultra-fine, flexible pins that allow for greater precision and crisper, more natural results.
Longevity: Microblading typically lasts 12–18 months. Nano needling can last up to 3 years with touch-up sessions.
Cost: Microblading is generally $100–$200 less expensive than nano needling.
Think of nano needling as microblading with added precision and durability. Take time to research which option suits your goals best, and feel free to reach out if you’d like guidance.

Use the healing balm provided 2-3 times a day for the first 7-10 days with a cotton bud- NOT YOUR FINGERS!
Do not apply any makeup on the treatment area for the first 7-10 days.
No swimming, saunas/jacuzzi, sun beds for the first 7-10 days.
Do not have any other cosmetic treatments such as facials, skin peels, laser ect within the first 4-6 weeks.
Don't pick, peel or scratch the treated area.
Avoid direct sun exposure for the first 14 days.
After 10 days an SPF of 20 or higher should be applied to the area.
Long term - In warmer climates, keep the area covered with a hat and or large sunglasses.
What’s the healing process like?
At first you’re eyebrows, eyeliner or lips with their newly defined shape, fully look and enhanced colour will look FAB-U-LOUS. Then you’ll notice the pigment darken – don’t worry it will settle!
After about 3-5 days, your tattoo will start to flake and peel. DO NOT PICK at the dry skin, keep applying the aftercare balm.
The flaking can last up to ten days and the colour may appear to fade to much lighter than expected. This is normal.
After about two weeks your cosmetic tattoo will look how they’re supposed to look, but it’s important to maintain long-term care.
Keep the area moisturized and out of direct sunlight as much as possible.
